Description
Canadian. Owen Sound, Ontario. 1895-1907. An unusual and scarce cream-glazed ewer and basin with floral motifs on both pieces. Paint dabs have been added to the handle and mouth as well as to the rim of the basin. Seldom are you able to find a matching ewer and basin together. This highly desirable set is in excellent condition and is attributed to the Owen Sound Pottery Company of Horning & Brownscombe.
