Waterloo County, Ontario. Third quarter 19th century. Two pine plank stools; the larger one with original apple green paint and V-cutout feet with inset braces and a top with serpentine cutout. The smaller example in original red paint is of mortised construction with half-round cutout feet and a small hole on top for carrying.

Good original condition with expected paint wear.
