Description
Shelburne County, Nova Scotia. 1850. Washstand with an original mahogany grain-painted finish. Square nail constructed with a strongly arched backboard, two towel bars, and an overhanging well above a single panel door. The base has a scrolled cutout to the front and sides and cast iron hinges.
Condition
There is some restoration to paint, etc. The well has been overpainted white.
