Description
A lot of three hooked rugs by Mme Jeanne d'Arc Gaudette. The rugs are tightly hooked with strong colours: a vertical oval image of a squirrel sitting on an oak branch eating an acorn, within a black border; a vertical image of two ducks in flight with bull rushes in the foreground; a black sheep with two rams and roses in the corners, all within a grey and black sawtooth border. All in good condition and all initialled. Quebec, mid 20th century.

Lot de 3 tapis crochetés de Jeanne d'Arc Gaudette. Les tapis sont finement crochetés avec des couleurs vibrantes : un vertical, avec centre ovale d'un écureuil assis sur une branche de chêne mangeant un gland, avec bordure noire ; un vertical, avec centre ovale, deux canards en vol et des quenouilles au premier plan ; un mouton noir avec deux béliers et des roses dans les coins, bordure en dents de scie grise et noire. Le tout en bon état et tous initialés. Québec, milieu 20e siècle.
