Description
An early small pine storage chest with remnants of original brown paint intact after almost three centuries of use. Post construction with snipe hinges and massive rosehead nails, the chest is in very good condition with a great air-burn patina. From Saint-Hermas, Quebec, early 18th century.

Vieux petit coffre de rangement en pin avec des restes intacts de peinture brune d'origine près de trois siècles d'utilisation après. Construction à poteaux avec pentures à œi et très gros clous de forge. En très bonne condition avec une belle patine d'âge. Saint-Hermas, Québec, début 18e siècle.
