American. 1860-1880. These types of lamps were made by Boston & Sandwich Glass Co., Sandwich, Massachusetts and other manufacturers. The maker of this lamp is unknown. Glass, brass, marble. Opaque white cut to ruby pyriform font with stars, ovals punties, and quatrefoils. Brass connector, white cut to ruby stem with ten rows of ovals. #2 early lip chimney, #2 early brass burner. Frosted and colourless engraved Oregon shade.
Condition
Manufacturing flaw in the cutting of the overlay. Open bubble in the white overlay, just beside the cranberry. Chips/roughness to marble base.
