Two (2). Cardan Lamp: Germany. Reading Lamp: England. 1700s and 1800s. Glass, metal. Cardan Lamp: cylindrical shaped glass font, pewter clock fluid lamp, original glass globe, hinged lid and footed base. A. Barrett and Sons Brass Candle Reading Lamp: brass shade can be removed and inverted to create differing reflective light. Reading Lamp: Label on base of stem reads, “A. Barrett & Sons, 63 & 64 Piccadilly, London".
Condition
Cardan Lamp: Top glass finial chipped. Reading Lamp: Denting to brass.
