Description
American. 1860-1880. These types of lamps were made by Boston & Sandwich Glass Co., Sandwich, Massachusetts and other manufacturers. The maker of this lamp is unknown. Glass, brass, marble. Cobalt blue cut to colourless pyriform font with ovals and punties. Brass connectors, matching punty cut stem, double-step marble base with brass accents. # 2 lip chimney, #2 lip burner. Blue to colourless cut overlay globular shade with five rows of oval cuts.
Condition
Annealing lines along top of shade.
