Canadian. c. 1900. Watercolour on paper. Period wood and composition frame. Martin was a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts and the Ontario Society of Artists. He was known for still life subjects and this subject might relate to hunting and his background with an education at the military school in Enfield, England. Signed lower left, "Mower Martin R.C.A.".
