Canadian. 1850s. Hardwood, possibly beech. Glass, wire and tin. Square shaped wooden lantern with glass sides. Wire carrying handle and a tin candle socket to interior. Wire twist lock to the door. The inside of the top has a modern sheet metal cover to protect from further charring.
Condition
Minor worm damage.
