Two pieces. Halifax, Nova Scotia. Late 19th century. Steel, figured maple. Very good pair of early Canadian ice skates, the steel blades attached to figured maple supports. The wood blocks with short metal spikes to secure the shoes of the skater. With three lateral openings for leather straps. Stamped, "The Starr Company / Halifax NS / Canada".
Condition
Very good. Slight crack to toe of one skate.
