Sutton Flat, Quebec. 1880s. Hardwood, iron. Rare early model for a Doray & Doray's nutlock patent. Made of black painted hardwood with iron plates, nuts and bolts. The patent was in support of a cost efficient and easy way to connect sections of railway track. Together with accompanying patent office tags and explanation of the patent application. Tag marked, "247487 Doray and Doray Nut Lock Sept 27th 1881".
