Description
American. 1850-1860. Double-cut overlay punty kerosene stand lamp. Features a rose to white to colourless pyriform font with round punties and etching of grape vines. Colourless wafer construction, brass connector and white milk glass base. Similar to Thuro 2, pg. 60, fig C. A #2 set screw burner marked, "PAT. ? 10.1867& AUG." and a #2 petal top lip chimney.
Condition
Burner is cracked. Wear to the decoration (base) and cracks in the base are evident.
