American. 1950s. Pressed steel. Miss Supertest III was a hydroplane designed and built by Canadians that won the 1959 Detroit Memorial Regatta and the 1959, 1960 and 1961 Harmsworth Cup races. Originally a Murray "Jolly Roger" pedal boat, this example was restored as a child's version of Miss Supertest III. Paint losses include a patch of loss from the passenger side and a larger area of active surface flaking from the front driver's side. Moderate losses and oxidation to the wheels.
