Description
Swiss. Circa 2017. Stainless steel diamond-encrusted case. Box and papers included. Founded in 1882 on Havana’s prestigious San Rafael Avenue, Cuervo Y Sobrinos enjoyed success and notoriety through the 1950's. Havana was a glamorous destination for celebrities, aristocrats and political figures and they all would visit the exclusive Cuervo Y Sobrinos shop. Patrons like Einstein, Caruso, Churchill, Hemingway, Clark Gable, Eleanora Duse, Pablo Neruda were a common occurrence. The brand basically shut down after the revolution but it was revived in 2002. 28mm case. The watch was found to be running at the time of cataloguing. It has not been tested for timekeeping accuracy and may require adjustment.
