The additional model line was created as a way to introduce purpose-built dress watches into Rolex's catalogue and introduced Rolex wearers to the premise of collecting multiple Rolex timepieces. In the 1970's the Cellini underwent several changes and adaptations making it one of the more diverse model lines in Rolex's growing catalogue, at the time. During this period the Cellini reference 4335 was introduced as a ladies dress watch. With the use of a manual winding movement this watch is impressively thin and almost disappears on the wrist, if not for it's visual appearance. 23mm case. The watch was found to be running at the time of cataloguing. It has not been tested for timekeeping accuracy and may require adjustment.
