Canadian. 1930s. Screened wood (SW). This rare thermometer advertises both Enarco Motor Oil and Maple Leaf Antifreeze. It also features the iconic "slate boy" graphic displaying the slogan, "What if it does go down to zero, that's nothing." Marked, "Taylor Permacolor Thermometer Made in U.S.A" lower left margin. Minor surface toning. Scattered scratches including a patch within the lower section of the thermometer scale. Broken mercury tube. 21" x 9".
