A single-family owned 1966 Ford Ranger 250 Custom Cab "Camper Special" pick-up truck with camper. In 1966 Harold Hinton drove to Dearborn Heights, Michigan to outfit his then new truck with an Avion Model C-10 Streamline camper. The odometer of this true survivor reads 39,966 actual miles. This style-side pickup has parchment cab and trim. It retains 100% of its original Sahara beige paint. This truck is equipped with an 8 cylinder 352CI engine, 3-speed cruise-o-matic transmission, a limited slip 410 rear end, dual electric horns, body side moldings, deluxe heater, radio, optional bucket seats, power steering, and a center console. A rear bumper was never ordered. The "Deluxe Camper Package" also includes floor carpet and fuel tank covering. Outfitted with chrome cap wheel covers. Included is a portfolio of records that serves as a journal of this truck's history since new. VIN# F25YC845567. Both sides of the box are lettered, "Harold Hinton, Guelph Ontario". A Ziebart coating was applied by the dealer in 1966. Truck is Purchased new from Carl Small Motors, Guelph Ontario. Single-family owned, purchased for hunting trips once a year. Originaly owned by great uncle Harold Hinton of Guelph, custom lettered on the side. Outdoorsman used for hunting, fishing. Purchased in 2007 by Brad Chalmers.
