American. 1940s. Double sided porcelain (DSP). Each side features a highly detailed image of a full 1940s bus on the Santas Fe System. Original hanging hardware and bracket. Exhibits minor to moderate patches of professional restoration on each side. The first side has touch ups to small chips and scratches within the "B" in "Bus Depot", just after the "L" in "Trail" and to the "T" in "Santa". This same side also has a 0.5" area of touch-up beneath the passenger's side headlamp and about 1" of loss surrounding each mounting hole. The other side shows a 1" x 0.5" touched up patch of loss above the "T" in "Santa", three minor edge touch ups and a minor touchup to the lower right edge of the "R" in "Trail". The restorations are professional and very difficult to identify. Each of these restorations is isolated. The overall colour and gloss of the sign has not been enhanced in any way. 23" x 26", Flange 21" x 35". Offered subject to reserve.
