Canadian. First half 20th C. Needlework. A depiction of a Canadian Mountie on horseback surrounded by two mounted Plains Indians with bison and deer below. Appears to be silk thread on taffeta ground. Retains original chip carved frame with applied decoration. Rippling to foundation. Stitching is in good condition. 25(L) x 20(H) x 1.25(D).
