American. Mid 20th C. Painted wood with brass hinges. A nice 20th century American tic-tac-toe game with geometric painted borders. The inside of the lid is painted with carnations and a dog. The playing surface is surrounded by a wren, peewee, chickadee and woodpecker. The base is lovingly decorated with Disney characters and Winnie the Pooh. Inscribed as gift to "Niece Viola".
