This work is a brilliant collage of human, beast, and anthropomorphic figures in living colour. 23.75 x 47". From the Marty Osler Collection. $2000/2500. Casey McGlynn is an Ontario-based artist specializing in surrealist pop art. He grew up in rural Ontario, where he spent countless hours sitting in front of the television drawing on scrap paper, developing his distinctive style. He later attended the Ontario College of Art and Design. His works are imaginative and surreal, with recurring symbols of animals, numbers, birds, and people. McGlynn’s works can be found in a number of private and public collections in both Canada and the US. Most recently his work was acquired for the HBC Global Art Collection in New York.
