Description
Canadian. Possibly Nova Scotia. 4th quarter 20th C. Pine, painted. A carved and imaginatively decorated figure of an animal, possibly a dog. Attributed to folk artist Ian Fancey. The body and legs are of natural tree branch with head, ears, eyes and tail added. Decorated with polka dots. The eyes are red, yellow and blue. Good condition. 23(L) x 12(H) x 7(W)".
