Description
Rare. Light aqua and clean with zinc band and plain aqua lid. Base embossed in part 'ER' for the word 'ERIE.' The back is embossed with The T. Eaton Co. Limited Toronto and the front has Erie Fruit Jar surrounding the hexagon containing an 'E'. The zinc ring has slight oxidation and there is a small 'V' off the lower edge. The ring tightens but it is too narrow to cover the threads. Erie Glass Co. Marked: "Erie Fruit Jar" and "The T. Eaton Co Limited, Toronto". Glass, metal. Canadian. 1890s. 5.75" H x 3.25" Diameter.
