Description
This is a typical painting by Watson with a scene looking out through an opening of mature trees at what is most likely the Grand River. It also appears that Watson's taste for elements shows the vestiges of spring flooding with piled debris of branches along the near edge of the river and partly gathered by the tree bases. For its size it has a great amount of detail and obvious effort from Watson. Excellent. Some light staining can be seen on the frame matting. Homer Watson. Signed: "Homer Watson" lower left corner.
