Description
This colourful directional sign, found in the Bruce Peninsula, likely belonged to a camp or small tourist resort. This well constructed sign was made from lengths of 2" x 10" cedar butt-jointed and secured on the back with 2" x 4" cleats. The edge around the face of the sign has been nicely chamfered. The "V" groove details accentuating features in the headdress and face were likely added with a router. The sign exhibits scattered areas of paint loss and soiling but overall, is in good condition.
