Description
Recently discovered during the liquidation of longtime downtown New Hamburg, Ontario business, Murray's Clothing & Footwear. There are other variations of this sign known to be made for the American market. This version features a mint green car and is know to have been produced for the Canadian market. Retains original steel corner mounting bracket. Exhibits minor porcelain losses within the right rear margin and extreme left edge. 3 of 4 original nuts and bolts fasten the sign to the original bracket. Condition 9. Steel mounting frame stamped, "Patented July 12, '04". Single sided porcelain (SSP), convex, die cut. Canadian. c1905. 22" H x 18" W. CODE-SIG
