Description
A variation capitalizing on the popularity of Teddy Roosevelt. Cock the rifle by pulling the sliding piece on the rifle back into position. Push the bear down into the tree. Place coin in front of the launcher and press the lever. Teddy lowers his head and shoots the coin into the stump causing the bear to pop up. From the Tanenbaum Collection. Painted cast iron. In working order. The coin base cover is missing. Exhibits scattered areas of minor to moderate paint loss and resulting oxidation. Slightly heavier losses are evident on Teddy's face and hat. American (Cromwell, CT., USA). Feb. 19, 1907 Patent. 7.5" H x 10.5" W x 3" D. CODE-BAN
