Description
A rare and hard to find collection of Canadian Banks. Collection includes two Boy Scouts and an Elephant with Howdah. A lot of Canadian castings were adapted from American or English molds. From the Tanenbaum Collection. Painted cast iron. Each marked "Made in Canada"/"Canada". The two boy scout banks exhibit heavy surface losses and oxidation. The top of the staff is missing on one of the banks. These two banks were made by The Beaverton Toy Co. from 1918 through 1930. The elephant bank has been repainted. Canadian. c1920.
