From the Maritimes is a very early sampler worked by Mary Taylor, dated 1711, showing fine stitching of birds, cows, flowers, deer, trees and a house with a tiny dog outside. Good colour with some darkening of the linen background. Framed in an early birdseye maple frame. Sight: 16.5" x 7.5". CODE-TEX
