Swiss. 40mm case diameter. Produced for only one year in 1967, this very rare Tudor Submariner is continuing to grow in popularity as it checks a lot of boxes for vintage collectors. This watch is regarded as the foundation upon which all future Tudor Submariners were based upon. What sets this version apart from all others is the open minute track which extends all the way to the outer flange of the dial. This feature was available for only one year and makes this a rare and highly sought after piece. The tritium hands and number plots have turned to an appealing mustard bronze while the dial is showing signs of a tropical nature. Box and papers are not included. The watch was found to be running at the time of cataloguing. It has not been tested for timekeeping accuracy and may require adjustment. CODE:WRI
