American. Serial number C420937, circa 1955. The watch is 16 size with a nickel, three quarter plate, open face movement with 21 jewels and micro metric regulator. The movement is stem wind and lever set. Adjusted to temperature and six positions. It has a Canadian-style railway grade dial with Arabic numerals from 1 to 12 and from 13 to 24. Very slight marks in the enamel at 3 and 8. There are some worn spots on the number 18 probably caused by the seconds hand. The crystal is scuffed. The case is gold filled with a screw bezel and back The watch was found to be running at the time of cataloguing. It has not been tested for timekeeping accuracy and may require adjustment.
