Newby" and "1789". The purpose of the number is unknown. 30 1/4”, .45 calibre barrel. Barrel exhibits light wear with a few contact marks. Walnut stock shows a few light scratches and contact marks, cheek piece, with worn checkering and a flaw in front of the trigger guard. End piece missing from ramrod thimble at the stock.
