American. 1930s. Wood case with glass face, metal knobs and coin acceptor. This is the "One" cent machine (early 3 ball version) by Baker who was later acquired by Franz in the late 1930's. Franz modified the machines to "Five" cent. The kicker appeared reverse painted on glass with only one leg. Coin acceptor stamped "Made in U.S.A" with patent dates to 1935. 16 1/2 x 13 1/2 x 9".
