Canadian. 1930s. Stamped cast iron. These plates were attached to bridges that CPR hadn't paid for yet. The plate would be removed when the bridge was paid for. Marked, "Canadian Pacific Railway Equipment Trust, Series R. Bank of Montreal Trust Company Trustee, Owner, Lessor". 2 3/4 x 6 1/4". Retains remnants of old red paint. CODE:RAIL
