This is one of three transfer printed Atkinson bottles being offered in this auction. This two-tone collar top pint bottle is the exact same bottle that was photographed for the book "Transfer Printed Ginger Beers of Canada" (2002) by Phil Culhane & Scott Wallace. The bottle is marked, "W. Atkinson Ginger Beer Guelph". Makers stamp:, "H. Kennedy Barrowfield 12 Pottery Glasgow" (Henry Kennedy & Sons Ltd., Barrowfield Pottery, Glasgow 1866 - 1929) to right side base edge. Exhibits minor flakes from the lip. Bail wire and iron cap are original to the bottle and exhibit heavy oxidation and rust from years spent underground. 7.75 x 2.75" (diam). CODE:POT
