Slight indentation/void in evidence just to the right of center at the base occurred during the manufacturing and is not a chip. Other then some discolouration to the lower two thirds, there are no apparent condition issues. This jug is pictured on page 79 of "Jugs & Crocks of the Guelph Merchants" by Joyce Blyth. CODE:POT
