Four of the five primitive stoneware pints that Don owned were photographed and documented for the first time in the book "Primitive Stoneware Bottles of Canada" (2002) by Scott Wallace & Phil Culhane. This bottle is one of them. The bottle is debossed "COPP & BEAVIS" just above the shoulder line. Very little is known of this brief partnership. The bottle exhibits a shallow base edge flake and small flakes from the inner edge of the rim. There are a couple of minor hairline glaze cracks on the left side of the blob top. 7.25 x 3" (diam).
