This lot features the two-tone Matthews pint bottle with sloping shoulders and fitted lightning stopper. Imperfections include a cavity on the right side of the bottle that appears to have occurred during the manufacturing process. The cavity is approx. 3/8" x 1/4" x 1/8" deep. As well as this, there's a blob of glaze on the left side of the collar towards the back of the bottle. Several small chips exist on the lip of the collar as well as a flake beneath the cavity and a small chip (on the base) at the front of the bottle. The discolouration beneath the bail harness is dirt and can easily be removed. The bottle is marked, "Matthews Ginger Beer, Guelph / Works / Brock Road". Stamped, "H. Kennedy 1 Glasgow" base edge. Matching porcelain stopper is marked, "Matthews Ginger Beer, Guelph". 7.5 x 2.5" (diam). Bail wire exhibits moderate oxidation. CODE:POT
