Debossed, "F. Hall Guelph Wine Vaults". 14.5 x 9" (diam). One very fine stable hairline crack (3.5" in length) runs from the base of the mouth downwards on the right side of the jug. There's evidence of a little bruising and a slight indentation on the right side of the base that occurred during manufacturing. The decoration suggests that this jug was produced by Welding at the Brantford pottery. This jug is pictured on page 25 of "Jugs & Crocks of the Guelph Merchants" by Joyce Blyth. CODE:POT
