Albany slip handled oyster jar. Debossed, "H. Loch Guelph". 8 x 6" (diam). Other then a little light scraping/glaze loss along the sides of the handle (as seen in the photos), the jug is in excellent condition. A glaze inconsistency slightly represents the figure of a duck's head. This jar is pictured on page 41 of "Jugs & Crocks of the Guelph Merchants" by Joyce Blyth
