Description
A cast metal plaque with a beaver at the centre as part of the coat of arms for Valleyfield Quebec from 1945 to 1983. A circular garland of maple leaves surrounds the square central plaque where, in addition to the beaver, is a sun motif, a fleurs-de-lys and a thistle. Untouched condition in original brass paint, this object was selected for a special Bowmanville Show exhibition celebrating Canada's 150th anniversary in 2017. H: 17", W: 17". CODE:CAN
