Enfield long rifle 1861 model with Snider breech conversion, stamped VR with a crown on the lock plate, stamp of BSA Co II under a star, and TR under the crown. Walnut stock, factory stamped with DC within diamond and having the original ramrod, brass butt plate and trigger guard. The side of the stock is stamped R M Enfield with a crown all within a circle and the number 1 below.
