Enfield long rifle 1864 model Mk II with bayonet, Snider breech conversion, stamped VR with a crown, stamp of BSA co II under a star, and TR under the crown. Walnut stock, stamped with DC within diamond, capital E, and numbers 4 and 17 in front of the trigger guard. Original bayonet and ramrod. Brass butt plate and trigger guard; the butt plate is also stamped 52 above 182. The Enfield was used by British troops during the Fenian Raid period as well as in the American Civil War by both sides. Top edge of gun sight is missing. Barrel: L: 35.5". CODE:FIREA
