Marked �Made at L. Hostetlers, New Hamburg, ON 1913� This marked "10K" yellow gold monogram brooch was made by Emerson D. Luckhardt as a demonstration of skill to mentor and jewellery store owner Lafayette Hostetler. �E.D.L� cypher is set with 3 distinct gold jewel settings each press-fit with a pocket watch jewel. Emerson would later take over Lafayette Hostetler�s store in Downtown New Hamburg, as outlined in the included document. Includes L. Hostetler jewellery box, E.
