Circa 1920. New York. Reverse painted "roma form" shade depicts the voyage and arrival of the English pilgrims at Plymouth Rock. This lamp celebrates America in both craftsmanship and symbolism. One side of the lamp depicts the Mayflower ship that transported English Separatists (Pilgrims) to the New World. The other end shows the result of the bravery: a Pilgrim family safely ashore on Plymouth Rock. Correct and original four-arm base signed "Pairpoint Mfg. Co 83054".
