Canadian. 1920s. Scale models serve as an excellent record of the machinery of yesterday. While some were manufactured as promotional samples, others were made by hobbyists and folk artists working with great skill and patience to produce a miniature version of a favourite machine. This model, made of salvaged wood and cut tin cannisters, is a toy "pull along" threshing machine. It was designed as a fully mechanical threshing machine, but requires restoration to function.
