Join us for our February 9th auction of folk art featuring notable Canadian artists from 1950 to present. Curated works include artists from Western Canada, Quebec, Ontario and Maritime Regions, as well as American outsider art. We are excited to offer six exceptional and fresh to the market works by Maud Lewis, works by Everett Lewis, quirky and fabulous Joe Sleep paintings, and magnificent land, sea and waterscapes by the "Matisse of folk art" Joe Norris. Also included is a rare work by Cyril Hirtle. In addition, we have a number of excellent Maritime carvings. These include two important multi-figure carvings by the ever-so-hard-to-find Charlie Tanner, three Swan carvings by the legendary Collins Eisenhauer, and more contemporary works by Phyllis Cosman and Barry Colpitts, including a work illustrated in his children's book 'Folk Art Animal Sounds'. From Ontario, the line-up is colourful featuring five special works by Barbara Clark-Fleming, select works by the Ewald Rentz, a Noah's Ark masterpiece by Robert Wylie, alongside other notable artists. Quebec folk art is particularly well-represented in this sale with several Richard family works, a one-off pharmacy by Leo Fournier, multiple works by yard artist Edmond Chatigny, and others by Alcide St Germaine.

Shipping Terms
Our in-house shipping department can safely package and ship your order locally and internationally.
