Our March 26th sale offers the lifetime collections of the Historical Lighting Society of Canada members, Valerie Lister (Ottawa), David Broughton (Port Hope), and Keith Dill (Niagara on the Lake). David Broughton’s collection concentrated on patent dated burners and interesting chimneys from the 1850s to 1890s. Keith Dill’s collection features lamps from the Northeastern United States from 1820 to 1880, including colourful marbrie loops, world class overlays, and Latticinio lamps. Valerie Lister, the author of the book “Trading Places”, which focuses on mechanical lamps, collected lamps from different countries and from different eras, from the early 19th century up until the first part of the 20th century. Her collection features several different types of mechanical lamps from Canada, the United States and Europe. Since there are many rare and interesting lamps, chimneys and burners in this sale, including some from the Catherine Thuro collection, we believe that it is the best sale of lighting offered in Canada.

Payment Terms
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and cash. A certified cheque or wire transfer is required for all invoices over $5,000.

Shipping Terms
Our in-house shipping department can safely package and ship your order locally and internationally. Scheduling a Pick-up
In accordance with COVID-19 protocol we accommodate pre-scheduled pickups from Sunday to Friday following the auction. Once your item(s) are paid in full please schedule a pick-up time slot here.
